This morning I was greeted in the hall by our cat Sammy and his new best friend mousey. I don’t think the mouse was entirely happy with the arrangement as he was dangling from Sammy’s mouth … but Sammy was having a great time letting him go and then chasing after him.

Eventually after shooing them outside, the mouse got away and hid up the top of a rose bush. Sammy tried in vain to ‘rescue’ his new friend.
